It's a bit like foster care – but for adults. As a Shared Lives carer, you will be paid to support adults who need a little extra help from your own home. You'll help them to achieve their goals and support them to live independently, helping them live their life, their way. They could spend the day with you, stay overnight or even move in, it's flexible to you.
