Perhaps you are retired, a parent of school-aged children, a student or looking to gain experience for your CV? Just want to do something useful or worthwhile? Perhaps you may even want to study for Oxfam-provided NVQs in Customer Services or Retail Skills? Or you may be interested in helping out with our Online Shop?
You can apply for one particular role or, if you want a more varied experience, we can provide that too. Any of the following roles interest you?
Till Volunteer – As well as looking after the till, you can help with customer service, restocking the shopfloor and keep our displays up-to-date
General Assistants – for sorting, pricing, steaming, visual merchandising, recycling, upcycling…
Window & Hotspot Displays - regular opportunities to update displays in line with shop promotions or Oxfam campaigns
Online Shop Specialist Role – Could you help photograph, research and/or list items? And package and post...
Specialist Areas: Womenswear, Menswear, Bric-a-brac, Kids clothing/toys/books, Jewellery, Music, Linen & Craft, DVDs or Books?
Also Seasonal Sunday Team 11-3pm Can you help on an occasional Sunday? Just up to Christmas? November? December?
Come along & join our friendly, dedicated, helpful team of volunteers. No experience necessary. Full training and support will be provided. USUAL SHIFTS: 9-1pm & 1-5pm but flexible hours may be possible.
