A History of Thornbury in 10 Items

United Reformed Church

Price £6

Is there more you can learn about Thornbury’s past? Why are there stories of mysterious tunnels leading to the castle? Find out by coming along to this lunchtime talk given by Meg Wise, who is a local Historian, Trustee and Volunteer of Thornbury and District Museum.

Meg has selected an extraordinary range of objects, from cattle horns to a Victorian curiosity box, with accompanying photographs, which illustrate our local history and she will explain their context in light of her researches.
